Chef Sami Iriti

CHEF SAMI IRITI

Hailing from Rimini, the half Italian and half Finnish chef, Sami Iriti has been passionate about food since childhood. He attended the culinary high school and acquired culinary knowledge & ideas during his travels to Italy and France. At the age of 20 years, Sami became the executive chef in Rimini, managing full operations of three kitchens. Within 3 years, he opened a boutique hotel and also managed three 4-star hotels of a prominent chain. After extensive kitchen experience & exposure, Sami is winning hearts with his new adventure, Non Solo Piada, that brings the famous Piadine Romagnole to New York and soon within the US.

Chef Alex Pava

CHEF ALEX PAVA

Roosevelt Alexander Pava aka Alex came to New York from Colombia at the age of 19. After pursuing his dream by graduating from the acclaimed Institute of Culinary Education (ICE), he started as a chef at an Argentinian steakhouse and also worked at a few Italian restaurants until reaching companies of the caliber such as BICE Group and BR Guest Hospitality Group. Eager to learn more, Alex switched his culinary career to a corporate level by working for major International hotel's chains such the Warwick Hotels and the Intercontinental Hotel Group.

As A Team

"Non Solo Piada" was born following their dream: "The real PIADINA must be known in New York City and in the US". Together, the duo focuses on managing the kitchen, keeping ample room for flexibility, communication, learning, and creativity. Their goal is to enlighten their patrons by offering fresh and delicious high-quality Italian street food in a lovely ambiance. Sami and Alex humbly accept appreciation as well as critiques for improvement. Their motto is: "NOW EVERYONE CAN ENJOY THE PIADINA ROMAGNOLA! OUR FOOD DON'T LIE".
